Inspired by his family’s recipes, Bruce Barton opened Lola’s Pizza Palace in 2014 with a desire to serve fresh, homemade pizza, sandwiches, salads, and desserts like the ones he grew up with. He wanted every customer to leave with a happy experience.
After studying hospitality management at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Bruce worked at hotels and pizzerias around the Chicago area before starting his family-owned business. He developed his own recipes over time and is proud to serve them in his classic menu at Lola’s.
You’ll find family members helping out in the restaurant, delivering pizza and making the famous desserts in the kitchen. The centerpiece of the kitchen is a vintage Middleby Marshall pizza oven- originally a bread oven – from the 1940s. It generates the warm aromas that greet customers as they enter the restaurant.
